EverDue ("the app") is a personal reminder and tracker app published by Dhara Labs ("we", "us"). This policy explains what data the app handles. In short: EverDue keeps your personal data on your device. Data leaves your device only in limited ways: when you choose to send feedback, export a backup, or message a tenant/contact on WhatsApp, and — unless you turn it off — as anonymous, aggregated usage statistics that contain no personal data (all described below).
Data stored on your device
Your reminders, categories, tags, notes, attachments (photos, PDFs, notes), vehicles and their service/expense logs, and tenants and rent records are stored locally on your device in the app's private storage. This data is never transmitted to us or any third party, and is removed when you uninstall the app.
Backups you create
You can export a JSON or CSV backup of your data. These files are written only to the location you choose (e.g. your device storage or your own cloud drive). We never receive them.
Messaging a tenant or contact on WhatsApp (optional)
For rental reminders and tenants, you can tap a "Message on WhatsApp" action to open a
pre-filled WhatsApp chat with that person. Doing this shares that person's
phone number (and the pre-filled message text) with
WhatsApp (WhatsApp Ireland Limited / Meta Platforms, Inc.), via a
standard wa.me link, so WhatsApp can open the right chat. This only happens
when you tap that action for a specific reminder or tenant — EverDue
never sends this phone number anywhere on its own, does not send it to our servers, and
we never see or store it. Once shared, WhatsApp's handling of the number is governed by
WhatsApp's own Privacy Policy,
not this one.
Feedback you send
If you use Settings → Help → Send feedback, the app sends the following
to our feedback server (https://dharalabs.801185.xyz/api/feedback) so we can
improve the app:
- message — the feedback text you type (please don't include sensitive personal information)
- device — your device manufacturer and model
- android — your Android version
- app_version — the EverDue version
- app_name — "EverDue"
- install ID — the same anonymous, random per-install identifier described in Anonymous usage analytics below — not linked to you, your account, or your device, and it resets if you reinstall or clear the app's data. It lets us find and remove your feedback if you use Delete My Data.
This is sent only when you tap "Send feedback". We use it solely to diagnose issues and improve the app. It is not sold or shared with third parties, and no advertising or tracking identifiers are collected.
Permissions
- Notifications — to show your reminders.
- Alarms & reminders (exact alarm) — to deliver reminders at the exact time, which is the app's core function.
- Run at startup — to re-schedule your reminders after the device restarts.
- Vibrate — for notification vibration.
- Internet — used only to send feedback, to send anonymous usage statistics (unless you turn them off), and to check for app updates via Google Play.
Anonymous usage analytics (optional)
To understand how the app is used and improve it, EverDue sends anonymous, aggregated
usage statistics to our own server (https://dharalabs.801185.xyz/api/analytics/ingest)
about once every 12 hours. This is on by default and you can turn it off any
time in Settings → Privacy → "Share anonymous usage stats". When
enabled, we receive:
- install ID — a random identifier generated by the app, used only to avoid double-counting. It is not linked to you, your account, or your device, and it resets if you reinstall or clear the app's data
- a one-way device hash — a hash of a stable device identifier, used only so we can tell a reinstall of the same device apart from a genuinely new install (the install ID alone can't do this, since it resets on reinstall). This is a one-way hash: the original identifier is never sent and cannot be recovered from it, and it is never used for advertising or cross-app tracking
- app name, app version, and platform ("android")
- coarse device info — your device manufacturer/model and Android version — used only for reliability triage across devices, not to identify you
- counts of in-app actions — e.g. the app was opened, a reminder was created, a section was opened — grouped by date and hour, plus the number of days since you installed
Google Play In-App Updates
The app uses Google Play's in-app update service to offer updates. This is provided by Google Play services under Google's Privacy Policy.
No accounts, no ads, no third-party tracking
EverDue has no sign-in or account, shows no advertisements, and includes no third-party analytics or advertising SDKs (the optional usage statistics above go only to our own server). It does not access your location, contacts, or accounts. The one exception is WhatsApp messaging, described above — that only happens when you deliberately tap that action, not automatically or in the background.
Children
EverDue is a general-purpose productivity app and is not directed to children under 13.
Data retention & deletion
All app data lives on your device and is deleted when you uninstall the app.
Feedback you send is anonymous: it contains only your message, basic app/device details (device model, Android version, app version), and the same anonymous install ID described above — no account, email, or personal identity, so it cannot be linked to you. For this reason, please avoid including personal information in your feedback message. Feedback is automatically deleted within 3 months of the date it was submitted, or sooner if you use Delete My Data to remove it immediately.
